The 6th Grade Haunted House 2016

Every year the 6th grade class creates a haunted house for the Halloween carnival at Los Encinos School on October 31st. The 6th graders do the haunted house they want to add to the Halloween carnival, they have a scary version and a not so scary version. The not scary version is where they turn on the lights and make it less scary than it is for the scary version. They decide by presenting ideas and they vote and build on the idea. They work on it as much as possible without taking away from schoolwork, the deadline is October 31st. They build it in committees. Some parents help with the foam walls, lights, etc. There is more to it than building the haunted house. There has to be a backstory, they display it by creating a short video that they play before the kids walk through the haunted house. The main goal of the Haunted House is to have people use their imaginations because it makes the experience more real.
