On October 31, Halloween day, the 6th grade class of 2017 will be hosting the LES haunted house for this year! The current 6th graders host/create a haunted house every Halloween because it is their last ever Halloween carnival at LES! And they also want to get people a little scared and in the mood for trick-or-treat tonight! Some themes in the past have been haunted rainforest, haunted mall, haunted dormitory and many other fun, but scary, themes. The class of 2017 choose a theme last week and they are now starting thinking of the layout and the video back story for the haunted house. Most of every class wants to have the theme for the haunted house a secret, so they usually try and trick the other grades. The parents and some teachers will be helping build/set-up the haunted house but, the 6th graders like to do all of the planning. The 6th graders will also be working on the video backstory that you watch before entering the haunted house. They have also started thinking of the backstory for their secret theme. The haunted house is completely free and it starts at 10:00 AM. Hope to see you there!
