Eleven, a character played by Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things, is a strong, powerful girl with psychokinetic powers, and her evolution through seasons 1, 2, and 3 is drastic yet similar.
Eleven is a young girl who has psychokinetic powers. She was kidnapped, taken, and raised in Hawkins Lab to be overwhelmed by her power and have it used against her and for evil intentions. She eventually escaped and found Mike, Dustin, and Lucas as she used her powers to help them find their best friend, Will. Since being raised in a lab, she has bad social skills and doesn’t have any known family (until she finds her mom in season 2), so she gets adopted by Hopper, a police chief character in Stranger Things. Her favorite food is eggo waffles, and she has one known sibling as of season two, named eight. As the seasons go by, Eleven grows and rises into her power and tries to have a normal life. Over the course of the three seasons, Eleven creates special bonds with multiple people, three of them being Hopper (season 1-3) Max (season 2-3), and Mike (season 1-3). Hopper, a chief police officer, takes in Eleven as a daughter of his own in season 2. He cares for her, and acts as a father figure to her in many ways. It is suspected he did so because Eleven reminded him of his own daughter, Sarah, who died of cancer before Stranger Things began. Because of this time spent together, Hopper and Eleven’s bond grew stronger, and eventually began to feel like a real father and daughter relationship in season 3. Max, on the other hand, is more of a ‘best friend figure’. Eleven hangs out in a group of boys, so Max, another girl, joining their squad was definitely refreshing to Eleven. Even though when Max and Eleven first met, they weren’t friendly with each other, they have definitely grown since then, and show major improvement in season three. Lastly, Mike is Eleven’s lover. While they weren’t officially together in seasons one and two, in season three they are an official couple, and grow as being not only best friends, but lovers as well. They go through some struggle while being together, but are too close to let that stop them from caring for one another. Fun Fact, ‘Mileven’ is one of the most popular Stranger Things ship.
To conclude, Eleven is an amazing character in Stranger Things and has grown a lot from season one, to two, to three, and has been a major character in the Stranger Things plot.
